Join Volunteer Legal Advocates’ Amplifying Voices Society: Powering Justice, Restoring Hope

The Amplifying Voices Society honors the leadership of donors who contribute $1,000 or more annually and Benefit sponsors at the $2,500 level or above. Since its founding in 2020, the Society has provided flexible, unrestricted funding that allows Volunteer Legal Advocates to meet urgent needs and expand access to justice for domestic violence survivors and at-risk children in our community.

Each year, Amplifying Voices Society members help us serve more than 3,000 survivors of domestic violence, gender-based violence, and vulnerable children across Washington, DC and in Montgomery County, MD. Together, we:

• Recruit and retain expert attorneys who mentor and guide our volunteers across all legal practice areas.
• Employ dedicated advocates who support clients with crisis intervention, safety planning, and emotional care.
• Train our legal volunteers to provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive services through ongoing professional development.
• Expand our impact through programs like our free Legal Clinics, helping even more people find safety and stability.
