DCVLP’s Executive Director Karen Barker Marcou with DCBF’s Imoni Washington at DCBF’s Fall Reception
The DC Volunteer Lawyers Project is proud to announce that we were awarded two grants in 2016 by the DC Bar Foundation, a leading private funder of civil legal aid in the District of Columbia. These awards — totaling $55,000 — will help us provide much-needed pro bono representation to victims of domestic violence.
We are grateful to DCBF for choosing us to continue it’s vision of ensuring residents of the District have equal access to justice, regardless of income. Thank you, DCBF!
